Bond's Back

Pretty clever of the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce -- the site of Roger Moore's star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame to be dedicated Thursday Oct.11 is at 7007 Hollywood Blvd. (7-007, get it?). Moore and wife Kristina arrived today, Monday. He will also host this  weekend's taping of "The World's Magic Awards" at Barker Hangar for Associated Television. It airs Nov.29 on My Network, 8-10 p.m.

The show's tickets and all license fees benefit Feed the Children, Associated's David McKenzie tells me. Roger also hosted Associated's "Ancient Mysteries of the Bible" which unveils recent  scientific and archaelogical finds in Malta where Moore locationed. It airs in 2008. Joining Moore at his star dedication, Thursday,  will be David Hedison who appeared in two James Bond movies, "Live And Let Die" and "License To Kill." Also there will be Stefanie Powers. Moore will be honored as "Mr.Wonderful" by the Thalians Oct.21. As a goodwill Ambassador for UNICEF Roger continues globe-circling after his L.A. stay--which also includes a celebration, Sunday Oct.14 -- of his 80th birthday.

In case you wondered, yes, Sean Connery has been selected to receive his star on the boulevard -- but a date was never worked out for him to be cemented. But another James Bond does have his star on Hollywood Blvd. He's Pierce Brosnan.
