Fisher_sistersJoely Fisher and sister Tricia Leigh are back from 10 days in Mozambique where Joely was an Ambassador in the Save The Children's artists program. "How could you say 'no'?" said Joely when the program's Jane Berliner asked her to participate. "We left our children (two of Joely's, one of Tricia's) and left. Despite the devastation we saw, the people were amazing. I told them (Save The Children) to ask me (us) to go anywhere, anytime."

Now home, the sisters are readying a 70th birthday celebration for mother Connie Stevens, which is set for August 8. The producers of "'Til Death" have even re-arranged Joely's shooting schedule to accommodate her. And the sisters are trying to induce their father Eddie Fisher to leave his SanFran lair and attend his ex's 70th. He will turn 80 just two days later on August 10.

Meanwhile, Eddie's other ex-wife pre-Elizabeth Taylor and Stevens, 76 year-old Debbie Reynolds, is taking off work from her non-stop appearances and heading to San Luis Obispo. It's the headquarters of son Todd Fisher's ranch, Debbie's museum and Hollywood memorabilia storage facility and a shooting stage. Debbie is filming segments for her upcoming, long-in-preparation "Hollywood Experience." It's a tentative name for her museum in construction at Pigeon Forge, Tenn. where a Spring '09 opening is planned.
